Split Croatia 2027: The Ultimate Nightlife Guide
15th September 2026
Last updated: 14th September 2026
Split is the ultimate combination of sunny beach days, historic streets and unforgettable nights out. From sunset drinks along the Riva to cocktails hidden inside the ancient walls of Diocletian’s Palace, before heading down to Bačvice for beach clubs and late-night parties, there’s always somewhere to go.
Whether you’re here for a chilled week of exploring and partying or planning to make the most of every night, Split has everything you need for an unforgettable summer holiday.
Where Is The Split Croatia Strip?
Unlike destinations such as Zante or Magaluf, Split doesn’t have one single strip where all the nightlife happens. Instead, the action is spread across a few main areas, all within easy reach of each other.
Start your evening around Diocletian’s Palace and the Old Town, where you’ll find bars, cocktails and plenty of places to grab a drink. The Riva waterfront is another popular spot for sunset drinks and people-watching before the night really gets going.
As the night gets later, head towards Bačvice Beach, one of Split’s main summer nightlife hubs. Here you’ll find beach bars, open-air clubs and venues that keep the party going into the early hours.

Split By Day
Split isn’t just about the nightlife. During the day, you’ll be surrounded by crystal-clear Adriatic waters, beautiful beaches and plenty of opportunities to explore.
Spend the day relaxing at Bačvice, head out on a boat party, explore the Old Town or take a trip to one of the nearby islands. And if you’re saving your energy for the night, grab some food, find a spot by the sea and enjoy the Croatian sunshine before getting ready to do it all again.
And of course, if you’re travelling with Party Hard Travel, you can make the most of our Croatia events, with everything from boat parties and daytime events to huge club nights included in our event packages.
Restaurants In Split
You’ll find everything from traditional Croatian food and fresh seafood to burgers, pizza and plenty of international options around Split.
We’ve put together some of our favourite places to eat in Split to save you the hassle of researching where to go:
Fabrique
Fabrique is a popular restaurant and cocktail club right at the end of Split’s Riva, making it a great place to grab some food before heading out for the night. The menu combines Mediterranean dishes with Napoletana-style pizza, alongside cocktails, beers and a large shaded terrace. It also brings plenty of nightlife energy, with music and late-night events making it a great place to start your evening.
Mokosh
Mokosh is a stylish Mediterranean restaurant hidden inside the historic Villa Tončić, just a few minutes from Split’s Old Town. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, the restaurant serves Mediterranean and Dalmatian-inspired dishes, fresh seafood, meat, pasta and lighter lunch options. It’s a great choice if you want somewhere a little more relaxed and upmarket for dinner before heading out.
Bigoli
Bigoli is a great option when you’re craving fresh pasta without wanting to spend ages sitting down for a meal. Located in Split’s Old Town, this pasta-to-go spot serves fresh Italian-style pasta that’s perfect for a quick lunch or an easy dinner before getting ready for the night.
Split By Night
Split nightlife usually starts later than you might expect. Begin with sunset drinks along the Riva before making your way into the Old Town and Diocletian’s Palace for cocktails and drinks with your mates.
As the night goes on, the party moves towards the bigger clubs and beach venues. Bačvice is one of the main places to head for late-night partying, with beachside venues and open-air clubs keeping the music going until the early hours during summer.
And of course, you can’t come to Split without experiencing a boat party. Spend the day dancing, swimming in the Adriatic and drinking with your mates before heading back into the city for another night out.
Bars In Split
Split has a great mix of bars, from laid-back spots for sunset drinks to lively party bars and cocktail spots hidden inside the historic Old Town. Whether you’re after cheap drinks, cocktails, live music or somewhere to start the night, there’s plenty of choice.
The Riva and Diocletian’s Palace are the perfect places to start your night, with bars and terraces tucked into the historic streets and courtyards of the Old Town. Grab a drink, soak up the atmosphere and watch the crowds before heading on to the next spot.
For a more beachside party atmosphere, head towards Bačvice, where you’ll find bars and late-night venues right by the sea. The area gets particularly lively during the summer and is one of the main places to head once the night gets going.
Our top tip? Don’t stick to one bar all night. Split is compact enough to explore on foot, so start with sunset drinks on the Riva, wander through the Old Town and then make your way towards Bačvice when you’re ready to party.
St Riva
St Riva is a stylish cocktail bar overlooking Split’s famous Riva promenade, making it a great spot to start your night with a drink and a view. Head here for cocktails, harbour views and a slightly more relaxed atmosphere before making your way into the Old Town and onto the busier nightlife spots.
Chiba Bar
Chiba Bar is a lively spot for drinks in the heart of Split, making it a great place to meet up with your mates before heading out for the night. With a fun atmosphere and a good selection of drinks, it’s an easy addition to any Split bar crawl.
Jimmy Bar
Jimmy’s Bar is a popular place to grab a few drinks before the night really gets going. With a central location and a lively atmosphere, it’s a great option for starting your evening before moving on to some of Split’s bigger nightlife spots.
Clubs In Split
Split has a varied summer club scene, from late-night beach venues and open-air parties to city-centre clubs and DJ nights. Whether you’re after a big night out or somewhere to dance until the early hours, there’s plenty of choice.
Bačvice is one of the best-known nightlife areas, with venues right by the beach that get busy late into the night during summer. For something closer to the city centre, Central Club is right in the heart of Split, while Vanilla Club is another popular summer nightlife spot.
The best thing about Split is that you can easily mix up your nights, start with drinks in the Old Town, head to a club in the city or make your way down to Bačvice for a late-night beach party.
And with Party Hard Travel’s Croatia Ultimate Events Package, you can experience some of the biggest parties and events during your holiday without having to plan every night yourself.
Club Hide
Club HIDE is one of Split’s newer nightlife venues, bringing DJs, premium drinks and VIP tables together for a proper night out. Located just a short walk from the Old Town, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a modern club atmosphere, big party energy and music that keeps you dancing into the early hours.
X Club
X Club is one of Split’s LGBTQ+ nightlife spots, offering a welcoming and open-minded atmosphere right in the city centre. With DJs, dancing and a fun crowd, it’s a great place to let loose and enjoy a different side of Split’s nightlife.
Central the Club
Central the Club is one of Split’s biggest indoor clubs, located right in the heart of the city just minutes from Diocletian’s Palace. Spread across two floors, with multiple bars, a large dance floor and a huge DJ booth, Central hosts DJs, themed events and a mix of music throughout the week.
Split Boat Parties
One of the biggest highlights of a Split holiday has to be a boat party. There’s nothing quite like spending the day cruising along the Adriatic with your mates, jumping into the sea, drinking in the sunshine and dancing to DJs on board.
Boat parties are a huge part of the summer nightlife scene, so if you’re heading to Split, make sure you leave space in your holiday plans for one.
