Carbon Offsetting

Although our sight is usually fixated on glistening shores, illuminated clubs and popping prosecco on boat parties, we’ve paused for a moment to consider our carbon footprint as a company within the travel and events industry. 

An individual’s carbon footprint refers to the total amount of greenhouse gases used in action. And yes, this includes everything, including your drive to work, your shower time, charging your phone at night and even getting on your flight abroad! 

As we are becoming more aware as a nation of the impact these greenhouse gases are having on our planet, we decided to take action and do our part as a business. 

Through Certified Carbon, we have offset our carbon footprint for each one of our employees, officially making us a carbon neutral team! This was equivalent to 78 tonnes worth of carbon dioxide, that’s 12 elephants worth of weight!

By purchasing carbon credits, we have provided the funding to Certified Carbon to aid their international projects. These are all in pursuit of the reduction and capturing of carbon. Their projects range from reforestation in Costa Rica, planting 12,000 willow trees in the Lake District and planting biodiverse forests in Panama. 

And, because we put our guests first above all else, we wanted to get you all involved as well! From now, every Party Hard Travel Ultimate Event Package bought will grant the planting of one tree.
